Limerick hotels take home three medals from Virgin Media Business Awards

No 1 Pery Square Townhouse was awarded the bronze medal in Ireland's Guest Experience.

TWO LIMERICK hotels were honoured at the recent Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards.

Adare Manor and No 1 Pery Square Townhouse took home three awards between them from the 34th annual Virgin Media Business awards.

Adare Manor took home the gold medal for Ireland’s Five Star Resort of the Year, while Adare chef Michael Tweedie tasted success as Ireland’s Five Star Chef of the Year.

Adare Manor were also awarded Ireland’s Favourite Place to Stay in Munster.

No 1 Pery Square meanwhile took home the bronze medal for Ireland’s Guest Experience.

In a statement to the Limerick Post, proprietor of No 1 Pery Square Patricia Roberts said that the award is testament to the work of her team within the hotel.

“Winning such a prestigious award is a great honour for a small to medium sized business,” Ms Roberts said.

“Creating great customer experiences is what we do every day and to achieve recognition through this award is a fantastic endorsement for our wonderful team.”

The awards are judged by industry experts and recognise excellence in the hospitality and catering industries across Ireland.

The awards were announced at a ceremony held in the Galmount Hotel in Galway at the end of January, hosted by radio presenter Anton Savage.
