In a statement to the Limerick Post, proprietor of No 1 Pery Square Patricia Roberts said that the award is testament to the work of her team within the hotel.

“Winning such a prestigious award is a great honour for a small to medium sized business,” Ms Roberts said.

“Creating great customer experiences is what we do every day and to achieve recognition through this award is a fantastic endorsement for our wonderful team.”

The awards are judged by industry experts and recognise excellence in the hospitality and catering industries across Ireland.

The awards were announced at a ceremony held in the Galmount Hotel in Galway at the end of January, hosted by radio presenter Anton Savage.
