Dylan Flynn brings Indie-Twang influences to their new music

Dylan Flynn & the Dead Poets

ONE of the city’s hardest working bands, Dylan Flynn & the Dead Poets released their debut album last year,  toured Ireland & the UK with sold out shows in Cork and Dublin, appeared at Other Voices and Electric Picnic, and amassed over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, including features on new Music Friday UK, Hot New Bands and Alternative Ireland.

The band have just dropped the reflective new single ‘The Story After They’re Gone’. ‘The Story After They’re Gone’ combines alt-country textures with the band’s already established indie/rock sound, to create what the band call Indie-Twang – through to these ears, this rocks more than it twangs –  and the music just keeps on getting better!

The song follows a stream of consciousness storyline where the narrator ponders his life after losing everyone around him.
