LIMERICK man Michael Quinlivan from Thomondgate joined health campaigners to urge everyone to donate or fundraise for the Irish Cancer Society on Daffodil Day 2024 (Friday March 22).

Ideas for what schools, companies, communities, or individuals can do are available on cancer.ie.

Irish Cancer Society CEO Averil Power said: “There isn’t a family that hasn’t felt the devastating impact of a cancer diagnosis. All of our essential services, like free counselling, night nursing, and patient travel are fuelled by fundraising.

“We simply can’t provide them without the public’s generosity. The more we raise on Daffodil Day, the more we can do,” she said.
