Beachside Story hits the Bridge

Members of Sixmilebridge Youth Club who will stage Beachside Story next week.

THE cast and crew of Sixmilebridge Youth Club are gearing up for their annual stage show, with its production of ‘Beach Side Story’ set to take place over the coming days.

There will be three performances of the show in Sixmilebridge GAA Hall, with opening night next Wednesday April 3, followed by Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th. All three performances have a 7pm start.

Having staged three sellout shows of ‘Rockin the 80s’ last year, the club is presenting another musical production this April with the tale of two friends (Brady and Mack) who are transported into the set of a 1960s film in which two rival groups of surfers and bikers contest a turf war over their favourite diner.

The producers of ‘Beach Side Story’ have promised a thoroughly entertaining show featuring dazzling costumes, vibrant musical numbers and spectacular dance routines.

Tickets are available from local shops in Sixmilebridge. People are strongly advised to purchase their tickets in advance in order to avoid disappointment, as all three shows in 2023 sold out prior to opening night.
