A MISSING Limerick teenager has been located, Gardaí have confirmed.

16-year-old Marius Stancu was reported missing from his home in Askeaton on March 13, with Gardaí fearing the teen may have travelled to the Athlone area.

Gardaí have now confirmed that Mr Stancu was located “safe and well”.

Gardaí thanked the public and members of the media for their assistance in finding the missing teenager.
