Limerick Book Fair returns this Riverfest weekend

The Limerick Book Fair will return this May Bank Holiday Weekend.

THE Riverfest long weekend has a treat in store for bookworms as the Limerick Book Fair returns on Monday May 6.

Items of local interest, many of museum quality, will be available from sellers from all over Ireland.

Cork antiquarian Jim Cooney will be showcasing rarities including a 1927 copy of ‘Songs of the Irish Gaels’ previously owned and signed by Thomas O Canainn.

Coin dealer Pat Woods will be offering a rare poster of Limerick man Edward Daly executed in 1916 and a letter from Daly to his sister, Mrs Tom Clarke.

The fair takes places at LPYMA Hall on 97 O’Connell Street from 10am to 4pm.
