INDEPENDENT local election candidate for City North Pat O’Neill has welcomed news from his representations to the council that a scheme of 43 units on the Condell Road will be made available in this summer.
“Originally this scheme was voted by the majority of councillors to be a fully social scheme, but once this news was circulated we were contacted by a lot of people who wanted the scheme to be mixed as they wanted an opportunity to buy their own home,” he said.
“We worked hard for a long time to finally get the confirmation that the scheme is now going to be both social and affordable.”
