Couple of injury worries for Munster

MUNSTER will seek an eighth URC win on the bounce away to Edinburgh on Friday, 7.35pm.

Remarkably, Graham Rowntree’s side have accumulated 34 out of a maximum 36 points over the last seven fixtures.

On the injury front, Tom Ahern (shoulder) and Jack Crowley (foot) both picked up knocks against Connacht at Thomond Park at the weekend.

The pair will be assessed in the coming days and a decision regarding their availability for the trip to Scotland will be made later in the week.

Meanwhile, Academy performer Daniel Okeke (Shannon) is to leave the club at the end of the season, Munster confirmed.
