LIMERICK have completed both their Under-20 and Minor Hurling Championship fixtures.

In the former, Evan Loftus’ side picked up a first win with a 0-20 to 1-6 defeat of Waterford at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.

Impressive captain Cian Scully (Dromin-Athlacca) and Oisín O’Farrell (Askeaton Kilcornan Desmonds) hit six points apiece for the winners.

Earlier at the same venue, Limerick were edged-out 0-13 to 0-12 by Tipperary at Minor level.

Elsewhere, in gaelic football action in the Tailteann Cup, Limerick will aim to bounce back from the opening round away loss to Down when Offaly, who were stunned by London at the weekend, are visitors to Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, on Sunday (3pm).
