ALMOST 130 projects by Limerick students will be showcased at ESB Science Blast in Limerick this coming week.

ESB Science Blast Limerick runs from May 21 to 23, and will see children from over 100 schools in Limerick descend on the University of Limerick (UL) to learn about science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM).

ESB Science Blast aims to get primary school children interested and thinking about the field of STEM.

Projects are undertaken by primary school classes who try to answer a simple question and explain the science behind it.

ESB Science Blast Limerick takes place at UL, starting on May 21 at 10.30am.
