Manufacturing Solutions Ireland 2024

ALL are invited to Manufacturing Solutions Ireland 2024 at the TUS Coonagh Campus in Limerick on June 12 from 8.30am to 4pm for an event focused around innovation and insight.

Hosted by the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and the Gauge and Tool Makers Association (GTMA), with support from the Precision Turned Parts Manufacturers Association of Ireland (PTMA), IDEAM (Irish Digital Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing), and Smarter Factory Technology, Manufacturing Solutions Ireland is back for its sixth year.

Organisers say the one-day event promises to deliver new knowledge, networking opportunities, and technological advancements to the precision engineering community.

This year’s event includes: main exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technologies; an engineering research conference presenting the latest advancements; industry-led presentations from esteemed keynote speakers; Women in Engineering panel discussion;  PTMA Micro Talks offering quick insights into key topics.

Dpeakers on the day include Tony Schmitz, Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, discussing “Hybrid Manufacturing Using Additive Friction Stir Deposition”, Martina O’Flaherty, Senior Engineering Director at Medtronic, sharing insights on collaboration between manufacturers and suppliers, and Martin Egan, Managing Director of Bijur Delimon Ireland, discussing digitalization in manufacturing.
