JUST four teams remain in the hunt for the Limerick Senior Football Championship following the weekend’s quarter-finals.

Fr. Casey’s easily had the measure of Na Piarsaigh, 3-12 to 1-12, while Adare skipped past Galtee Gaels (0-10 to 0-1).

Taltented trio Adrian Enright (1-3 overall), David Ward (1-1) and Eliah O’Riordan grabbed opening-half goals for the winners.

The semi-finals are: Fr. Casey’s v Mungret St. Paul’s and Adare v Newcastle West.

Ballylanders retained their senior status with a thrilling win over Ballysteen.

In the Intermediate Football Championship, there were comfortable quarter-final wins for Galbally and Claughaun, who now respectively advance to meet Dromcollogher/Broadford and Rathkeale.
