2020 EPSOM Derby winning jockey Emmet McNamara of Rathkeale is among the several hundred who will participate in this morning’s 10km Charity Run for Milford Care Centre at the University of Limerick.
He explained: “I’m running in honour of my mum, Paula, who received the most phenomenal care from the staff at Milford Hospice before her recent passing.”
“It is also fitting that the race will be held in the University of Limerick, where Mum worked so happily for over 30 years. Any donation, however small, is greatly appreciated.”
