Local artist’s exhibition opens in People’s Museum

A NEW exhibition of work by Limerick artist Aisling Burke Oโ€™Connor opens this weekend at The Peopleโ€™s Museum of Limerick.

The exhibition, Coup Dโ€™Oeuil, will run until March 10 in The Blue Room at the musem. Drawing an Sardinia as an influence in her work, Aislingโ€™s exhibition โ€œexplores how a glance or glimpse can evoke deep emotional responses, shaping sensory perceptionโ€ and โ€œexamines the link between these fleeting visual impressions and the visceral changes they induce, driven by the autonomic nervous systemโ€.

A former student of Limerick School of Art and Design, Aisling is a member of Visual Artists Ireland, as well as being a professional therapist and visual artist.
