Limerick name starting XV for Munster Championship opener

LIMERICK have named their starting selection for Saturday’s Munster Senior Football Championsip opener against Cork at the Gaelic Grounds, 6pm.

From the side which started in the League final win over Wexford at the weekend, into the starting selection come Darren O’Doherty of Newcastle West, Rathkeale’s Barry Coleman, Seán Clancy (Bruff) and Peter Nash, Kildimo Pallaskenry.

There are also some positional changes, most notably Emmet Rigter (Newcastle West) now at centre-field alongside Tommie Childs of Galtee Gaels.

The winners will be home to holders Kerry in a couple of weeks’ time.
