THE Technological University of the Shannon has opened a base in East Africa where prospective students can learn about educational in the Mid West and Midlands of Ireland.
The opening of an office in Nairobi, Kenya, extends the university’s international presence which includes hubs in Nigeria, India, Mexico, Malaysia, Dubai, and China.
Speaking at the hub’s opening in Nairobi, Ambassador of Ireland to Kenya, Her Excellency Caitríona Ingoldsby, said “this launch is more than the opening of an office — it’s the strengthening of a bridge between Ireland and East Africa, built on shared values and a belief in the power of education to shape futures”.
