A TALENTED Limerick speechmaker talked his way to success at the final of the Divisional Speech Evaluation Contest.
Adam Cronin came in second place in the final of Division D (Limerick, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Tipperary, and Clare) of the competition, which took place at the Anner Hotel in Thurles, County Tipperary.
A member of the Limerick Toastmasters, Adam was modest in his victory, saying: “The reason I put myself out there was to see how I measure up as an evaluator at both the area and national level.
What I felt afterwards is that I can mix and mingle with the best. At the same time, practice really does make perfect.”
