RATHBANE Golf Club is hosting its charity fund raising event on May 16 from 8am to 4pm.
All proceeds of this event will go to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
This initiative was set up over 20 years ago to help fund a comprehensive research programme at the University of Galway.
The club promises a fun day where members and visitors come together to support a worthwhile cause.
“The format of this event will be a three-ball scramble, best ball all the way, with both nine and 18-hole competitions on the day,” a club representative said.
“Both Golf Ireland members and non members are welcome.”
