Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre is delighted to announce that it is once again fully
occupied, following the opening of three new retail stores last week. This marks a
significant milestone for the shopping centre and a step in the right direction for
Limerick’s city centre retail scene.
The newest arrivals include national fashion retailer Paco, established local brand Ger
Robinson Hair Designs, and newcomer Smetenko Gift Store, all of whom commenced
trading last week and are now fully open.
Arthur’s Quay is experiencing growing footfall levels throughout 2025, and the addition
of these three businesses is expected to further enhance activity and trade within the
centre.
Recent improvements at the centre include a new modern SKIDATA parking system, the
introduction of additional parking services including an overnight parking service, and
the upcoming launch of an online parking webshop in summer 2025, enabling parkers
to conveniently pre-book hourly, weekly, and monthly parking passes online.
Ray Collins, Centre Manager at Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre, said:
“This is a fantastic milestone for Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre and will benefit both
ourselves and the city centre. Welcoming a national retailer like Paco alongside
homegrown brands such as Ger Robinson Hair Designs and Smetenko Gift Store signals
real confidence in Centre. With growing footfall and full occupancy now achieved,
these are the kinds of positive developments that show what’s possible with the right
investment and collaboration”
Paco Graves, Managing Director of Paco, said:
“Having traded in the Crescent Shopping Centre for the past 25 years, we are delighted
to finally be able to open a shop in Limerick city centre. Paco Arthur’s Quay will stock
our new menswear range, which is not currently available in the Crescent. We look
forward to welcoming our current and new customers to our beautiful store in Arthur’s
Quay.
We have fantastic offers in store on our Summer 2025 collection, including a fabulous
selection of 2 for €33 embellished printed T-shirts and 15 different colours of cropped
trousers in our 2 for €55 range. Call in to Paco Arthur’s Quay as soon as possible to avail
of our opening offers.”
Ger Robinson, Owner of Ger Robinson Hair Designs, said:
“I’m thrilled to share that Ger Robinson Hair Design is moving to a new home in the
heart of Limerick City – on the first floor of Arthurs Quay Shopping Centre. After three
incredible years in our previous location, this next step gives us the opportunity to grow
and offer an even better experience for our clients. The new space is modern,
welcoming, and perfectly aligned with the high standards and creative energy we’re
known for.
My team and I are really delighted to have joined the Arthurs Quay community and
continuing to deliver top-quality hair services in a more spacious and dynamic setting.
We’re also excited about expanding into beauty services soon, making it even easier for
our clients to feel and look their best all in one place.”
Tetiana Smetanko, owner of Smetanko Gift Sore, said:
“Opening Smetanko Gift Store in Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre has been a journey
filled with hard work, late nights, and a lot of heart. This shop isn’t just a business – it’s a
part of my life. From the design to the details, everything has been done with love, and
I’m proud to say it’s truly one of a kind in Limerick.
We opened our doors on 1st May, and I can’t wait to welcome people in to discover
something beautiful, personal, and unique”
This renewed momentum at Arthur’s Quay Shopping Centre reflects the broader
potential of Limerick city centre. With full occupancy achieved, growing footfall, and
ongoing investment in services and infrastructure, the centre is well-positioned to
continue to play a leading role in the city’s centre’s retail and commercial revival.
