LOCAL trainer Enda Bolger was in the winners’ enclosure at Limerick following the impressive victory of Tippin And Tappin (11/2) in the €10,000 Treaty Plant Hire Handicap Chase on a sun-drenched evening at Greenmount Park, Patrickswell.

He was guided home by Darragh O’Keeffe, who followed up for quick double on the JP McManus, Martinstown, owned Priory Park (10/3) for trainer Edward O’Grady in the finale.

Winning trainer Bolger, Bruree, told irishracing.com: “We bought him for a four-year-old point-to-point horse but he has just taken a lot of time. He got his head in front in a point the last day when he got a great ride from Luke Kelleher, who gave him his confidence.”

“I must say Darragh gave him a great ride and we’ll tip away now for the summer.

“Aubrey McMahon bought him for the (Storytellers) syndicate and his dad Luke is involved as well so they’re delighted.”

The jovivial bunch are based in Kildare with Paul Carty as secretary.
