BALLINGARRY jockey Billy Lee posted a serious double at the Royal Ascot Meeting, courtesy of Ascending (20/1) in the Ascot Stakes and Camers (9/2) in the Queen’s Vase.
On his return home, Lee then rode a treble at Down Royal.
He scored with Letiza (6/5f), Royal Entry (9/4) and Billie Frechette (3/1).
‘Entry was the winner of the Ulster Oaks.
Lee, 38, is fancied to win the Irish Flat Jockeys’ Championship this season.
Interestingly, he is a first counsin of Limerick senior football manager Jimmy Lee.
