FORMER professional Munster Rugby star James Rael has been appointed to lead the Limerick operations of financial company Davy.
The move marks a key milestone in the firm’s strategy to grow its presence in the Southwest of Ireland.
The Limerick native brings over nine years experience from Davy’s head office in Dublin, where he advised high-net-worth individuals and business clients.
In his new role, James will focus on expanding Davy’s wealth management and financial planning services across the greater Limerick area, working directly with clients to deliver tailored investment strategies and advice.
Before joining Davy, James had a successful career as a professional rugby player with Munster and Connacht, retiring from professional rugby in 2014 due to injury.
Rael started his rugby career with the Munster Academy and played for amateur club Old Crescent in the All-Ireland League.
Mr Rael played for Connacht during the 2013-14 season, making his debut in September 2013 until he came off the bench against Ospreys in the 2013-14 Pro12.
