A LIMERICK artist is set to whet the appetites of local culture vultures with the opening of a new exhibition at the Dooradoyle Library.
Well-known visual artist Jim Furlong will open his latest solo exhibition, Glance, at the Dooradoyle Library, by the Crescent Shopping Centre, on Thursday August 7, running until Sunday August 31.
The month-long exhibition will have its official opening overseen by Professor Rajnish Gupta, a Limerick-based cancer specialist.
Jim Furlong is a previous winner of the Tom Fox Painting Award, presented to outstanding graduates of Limerick School of Art and Design.

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm Tuesdays to Saturdays until August 31.
