10 NEW affordable homes are being brought to the market by Limerick City and County Council at Newtown Meadows in Castletroy.
The three-bed homes are available under the Affordable Housing Act to first-time buyers and fresh start applicants who do not own a home.
Prices are set around 18 per cent below market value, with the homes being aimed at buyers under a gross household income limit of €80,708.
Under the scheme, the Council will take a percentage equity share in the home, equal to the difference between market value and the price paid by the purchaser.
