
A LIMERICK woman who has been marked as one to watch in the world of international corporate finance has been named as the new group chief financial officer for international health food retailer Holland and Barrett.
Vineta Bajaj, a graduate of the University of Limerick, was this year included in the Top 100 Retail Technology Influencers List, which was compiled by Retail Technology Innovation Hub (RTIH) magazine.
Ms Bajaj brings more than a decade of international finance leadership experience to her role at the international health food chain, having most recently served as group CFO at Rohik Group, a pan-European online grocery business operating in five countries.
During her time with Rohik Group, Ms Bajaj guided the company through what she describes as a โturbulent time for online groceryโ while securing a $170million capital raise, doubling revenues to โฌ1.2billion, and driving strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Announcing her position on LinkedIn, Ms Bajaj said she was โthrilled to announce that, on 15th September, I am joining Holland & Barrett as group chief financial officer and a member of the Holland & Barrett board”.

Ms Bajaj also spent 10 years at Ocado Group, the FTSE 100 online grocer and technology provider, where she played a key role in international expansion, major partnerships, and raising over ยฃ1.5billion in capital.
