THREE businesses in Limerick were to be subject of a Garda investigation after being found selling alcohol to minors.
Gardaí last week carried out a test purchasing operation on 14 licensed premises around the county “to make sure alcohol is not being sold to youths”, a post on the An Garda Síochána Limerick Facebook page explained.
Gardaí said that “unfortunately three premises have failed the test and will not be subject to investigation”.
Gardaí further added that all businesses involved in the test operation were informed after they had been subject to test inspections.
