Limerick singer-songwriter Keith Daly has returned to music after a 16-year hiatus with his debut original single Looking for Love, released on Clonlara Records this August.

The soulful track draws inspiration from personal reflections during Covid-19 lockdowns, exploring themes of hope, vulnerability and the universal search for connection.

“This song is deeply personal… it’s about finding meaning when life feels uncertain—and the hope we all share in looking for love,” Daly explains.

The Limerick native first gained recognition in 2009 with cover band Zenith before the economic recession prompted moves to Vancouver for 18 months, then London for eight years.

During this time, he paused his musical career whilst building a new life.

Now back home and balancing full-time work, Daly has channelled years of experience into this heartfelt track.

The song is accompanied by a fine video available on YouTube using Kilkee drenched in sunshine as a backdrop. With honest lyrics and raw emotion, Looking for Love resonates with anyone yearning for deeper connection and understanding.

The single, now on Spotify and Apple Music marks a triumphant return for an artist rediscovering his creative spark.
