THE new Limerick Harvest Festival at the Milk Market on October 26 combines harvest traditions with modern day Halloween with its city pumpkin patch and its on-stage talks and demos for young and old. It delights with great food, craft and garden stalls and offers workshops and music all day.

David Fitzgerald, operations manager of Limerick Milk Market said: “Set in the iconic Milk Market, this vibrant, family-friendly festival offers something for everyone—whether you’re here for the pumpkins, the food, or the folklore.”

At the core of the festival will be the first city pumpkin patch, created by D&M Garden Centre, under cover at the Milk Market. Tom Giltenane of D&M Garden centre said: “We have been involved with the Garden Festival at the Milk Market since the beginning and were thrilled to hear that a counterpart at the end of year is now becoming reality.”

“On the day, we will offer a great pumpkin display, fun games with pumpkins and the area will be safe with hay bales around.”
