LIMERICK’S most beloved treacherous citizens are set to return to screens this week.
Paudie and Andrew Moloney, who made headlines in September after taking RTÉ’s hit show The Traitors by storm, will grace the nation’s screens once again this Wednesday (October 22) for a special episode of Gogglebox Ireland.
The Kilmallock father and son duo captured the hearts of the nation for their stint on The Traitors, with calls for father Paudie (crowned ‘The Paud-father’ by adoring national audiences) to make a run for the Áras in this week’s presidential election.
Son Andrew too warmed the hearts of the nation with his infamous ‘Daddy’ slip.
Now, the duo will return, swapping their traitor’s cloaks for the safety of their own couches in this Wednesday’s special episode of Gogglebox. Joining the dynamic duo will be Paudie’s daughter Aoife – making the broadcast a real Moloney family affair.
“I’m really looking forward to doing Gogglebox, it’s always a real favourite in our house. Watching telly and eating biscuits with my children Aoife and Andrew without having to wear a cloak, hug a stranger, or plot a murder will be a lovely relaxing change from my last time on telly,” quipped Paudie ahead of the episode airing.
The Moloney family will take to screens from 9pm on Wednesday on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Play.
