Generous donation during weekly Limerick card game

A GENEROUS donation was made to a worthy cause by a local group who gather once a week for a game of cards and a bit of craic.

Newcastle West GAA holds its weekly card game on Saturday nights. Recently, the group decided to host a charity night during one of its regular sessions, collecting for Milford Hospice and holding a raffle to raise funds.

Following the charity night, Mary Kenny and Seanie Roche of the group donated a cheque for over €1,300 to Milford. The duo thanked all involved for making the night a success.
