Over €150,000 for Limerick projects as part of Integration Fund

OVER €150,000 has been allocated for Limerick projects under the 2025 Integration Fund.

The nationwide fund helps enable local community organisations across Ireland to play a greater role in promoting the integration of migrants arriving to the country for protection or in search of a better life.

The projects receiving funding in Limerick this year are Doras Health, Wellbeing, and Integration project, which will receive a sum of €98,458, along with St Mary’s National School’s ‘A New Beginning’ project (€18,527), Engage in Education by Compass Programme (€10,000), GOSHH Ireland’s Thrive Ireland: Migrant LGBTQ+ Support project (€9,500), Kilfinane Community Council’s Kilfinane Intercultural Winter Fest (€8,000), and Northside Family Resource Centre’s Integrated Youth and Children’s Groups (€10,000).

117 community-based projects across the country are set to receive €3,612,974 under the fund nationwide.
