Abandoned horses seized from Mayorstone

THREE horses were seized by Limerick City and County Council in the Mayorstone area last week.

According to a statement from the Council, the first seizure took place on January 13 from Quarry Park, Mayorstone, Limerick.

A year-and-a-half-old bay male shetland and a bay male foal were seized by the local authority.

The following day (January 14), a grey male yearling was seized from outside Mayorstone Garda Station. According to the Council, the owners or keepers of the abandoned animals are not known.
