SAINT Vincent de Paul (SVP) anticipate in the region of 10,000 requests from across County Limerick for help in the run-up to Christmas.
The Newcastle West branch officially launched its Christmas Appeal at their charity shop on Lower Maiden Street.
The community-focused event was attended by a strong gathering of local dignitaries and supporters, showing public solidarity with the organisation and its ongoing work throughout West Limerick.
A new initiative introduced as part of this year’s campaign is the rollout of a resolute QR donation code, now displayed on posters throughout the town.
