THE LIMERICK Gift Card has officially surpassed a quarter of a million euro in sales, reaching €271,000 just before Christmas, marking a significant milestone for the initiative, and demonstrating strong community support for shopping local across Limerick.
Launched to encourage ringfenced spending within the local economy, the Limerick Gift Card can be used in a wide range of participating retailers, hospitality venues, and service providers.
Commenting on the achievement, Seán Golden of Limerick Chamber said: “Surpassing €271,000 in sales is a clear indication of the appetite for supporting local enterprise in Limerick.
The gift card is a powerful tool for driving spend directly into our local economy”.

- Cavity Walls: Up to €1,700 Grant
- Internal Dry Lining: Up to €4,500 Grant
