Renewed appeal for missing man from Limerick city on one year anniversary

A FRESH appeal for information on tracing the whereabouts of a missing man last seen in Limerick City a year ago this Tuesday (January 14) has been launched by GardaĆ­.

27-year-old Luke Price, who also responds to his middle name, Gabriel, was reported missing from Mountkennett on Tuesday January 14, 2025, where he was last seen at around 9pm.

He is described as being approximately six feet in height with a slim build, auburn hair, and blue eyes.

GardaĆ­ said that Luke is a resident of Portlaoise but was known to spend much time staying in Limerick, where his partner and brother live.

When last seen, the chef was wearing a black coat, blue jeans, and black boots.

A CCTV image of Luke travelling to Limerick by train was taken on the day he was reported missing.

Hundreds of people gathered shortly after he was reported missing last year in Arthur’s Quay Park in Limerick City to search the wider area for any trace of the missing man.

There have been a number of reported sightings by members of the public across different locations over the past year, however none of these have been confirmed to be Luke.
