WOOLY hats and turning on the home heating may be on the cards tomorrow (Friday) night after Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning for Limerick and the rest of Ireland.
Weather service this Thursday morning issued the Status Yellow warning, which is set to come into place on Friday night at 9pm and last into 10am on Saturday morning.
Met Éireann has warned of temperatures between -1 and -3 degrees, with sharp frost and icy conditions.
Alongside this, the weather service said potential impacts may include travel distruptions and hazardous travel condition on road and underfoot.
