THE 50 Plus Show supported by Specsavers Limerick is returning to the Greenhills Hotel Conference and Leisure Centre on May 12 and 13 – the 4th consecutive year it’s being held in Limerick.

This year’s event will feature over 60 displays, demonstrations and workshops all designed to inform and entertain people in their retirement.

Attractions include free cooking demonstrations, arts & crafts workshops, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshops, live music plus 50 exhibitors covering health, rights & entitlements, volunteering, personal finance, energy savings, hobbies & pastimes, coin & stamp collecting and join a club or society.

Sinead Ryan, known to many from her Newstalk programme and column in the Irish Independent will be speaking on both days on “Wills, Inheritance and the Fair Deal Scheme: everything you want to know but are afraid to ask”. Also speaking and available to chat afterwards will be Irish Times Education Columnist and Guidance Counsellor, Brian Mooney who will be giving some food for thought about the conversations you need to consider having about your retirement  – your second life.

Live Music/Exercise Classes

And for the more actively inclined, there will be some live musical performances plus exercise classes throughout the day
