THE winner of the 2026 Desmond O’Grady International Poetry Competition will be announced during a night of poetry and culture set to take place on Wednesday April 15 at The People’s Museum of Limerick.
The announcement will take place at the annual Desmond O’Grady Memorial Reading will feature reading of work from Seán Lysaght, Jamie O’Halloran, and Jo Slade, in memory of the late Limerick poet Desmond O’Grady – Aosdana member and founding member of the European Community of Writers.
The event kicks off from 7.30pm with free entry.
