THE National Care Experience Programme announced that text invitations calling for participation in Ireland’s National Inpatient Experience Survey have been sent to patients across the country.
The survey is a nationwide programme spanning 40 public hospitals from six HSE health regions and invites people who spent 24 hours or more in a public hospital during May 2026 to share their experiences.
Findings from previous iterations of this survey were used to inform improvements to the care provided in public acute hospitals.
Survey responses are anonymised, analysed, and compiled into a national report on inpatient care across Ireland.

The final report will be published in late 2026 and available public on yourexperience.ie.
