LIMERICK Choral Union will fill the University Concert Hall with song this coming Saturday (April 18) as they present their spring concert, ‘Awakening’.

Under the baton of musical director Malcolm Green, the concert brings together choir, orchestra, and distinguished soloists “in a powerful celebration of renewal, reflection, joy and of hope”.

The concert features two deeply expressive and contrasting masterpieces: Dan Forrest’s ‘Requiem for the Living’ and Antonio Vivaldi’s beloved ‘Gloria’.

‘Awakening’ will take place from 8pm on Saturday April 18 at the University Concert Hall.
