PEOPLE across Limerick are being encouraged to get spring cleaning for a good cause.
A ‘Spring Clear-out’ event will take place this Saturday (April 18) at the Montpelier-O’Briensbridge Community Hall from 12pm to 3pm.
The event calls on people from across Limerick to clear out their attics and bring along pre-loved homeware, furniture, upcycled pieces, books, and more for a second-hand sale to help raise funds to redevelop the old school in Montpelier into a community centre.
On the day, the Shannon Paddlers will be offering an opportunity to purchase a piece of local history in the form of items from the recently acquired Ryan Inn in the village.
