LIMERICK Historical Society will host its next public event, a pictorial reflection on Limerick Showbands and Dancebands, this Friday (April 24).
Local historian Tony Browne will take audiences on a journey back to the 1960s when show and dance bands provided live entertainment to the people of Limerick.
The event will take place at the St Saviours Community Hall on Edward Street in Limerick City from 8pm on Friday.
The event is free and open to all members of the public.
