ALMOST 200 homes and businesses in Rathkeale are without power this Thursday morning (April 23).
According to ESB Networks’ PowerCheck website, 189 homes and businesses in the town have been without power this morning since 10.05am as a result of a planned service interruption for essential works in the area.
The energy service currently estimates power in the area to be restored by 6pm this evening.
Via the PowerCheck site, ESB Networks said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are carrying out essential improvement/maintenance works in your area and will restore power as quickly as possible.
