
OVER 400 homes and businesses in two Limerick towns are without power this Monday morning (April 27).
According to ESB Networks’ PowerCheck website, 171 homes and businesses in the town of Rathkeale have been without power this morning since 9.47am as a result of a planned service interruption for essential works in the area.
Also resulting from a planned service interruption, 251 homes and businesses in Patrickswell are without power since 9.23am this morning.
The energy service currently estimates power in areas to be restored by 6pm this Monday evening.
Via the PowerCheck site, ESB Networks said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are carrying out essential improvement/maintenance works in your area and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
