
ALMOST €100,000 in funding aimed at improving water quality has been allocated for Limerick.
The Community Water Development Fund and the Catchment Support Fund has announced over €2million across the country.
Limerick projects awarded funding include Ballyhoura Heritage and Environment  Nature Based Interventions on Keale River / Molanna Loop Walk and associated works (€3,694), Limerick & District Anglers group Lucas’s Ponds (€5,500 ) Maigue Rivers Trust  West and Liskennett river feasibility study for instream works (€22,320 ).
The Catchment Support Fund will also fund Castleconnell River Association CLG  (€31,092) and Maigue Rivers Trust  (€30,145).
