FINE Gael councillor Sarah Kiely has questioned the Council on the progress made on the Turner Vinery, previously housed on the grounds of Southill House.
The structure belongs to one of the few vineries in Ireland designed by the renowned 19th century architect Richard Turner.
Cllr Keary was informed that the Regeneration Department has been successful in securing 2026 Historic Structures Funding and has actively engaged with the appointed contractor to establish works items for completion under this funding stream.
The Regeneration team, the City East representative was told, will continue to seek additional funding in order to advance delivery of this project.
