FINE Gael Councillor Dan McSweeney has asked the Council for an update on progress made on the land acquisition for the Clarina Village to Brick Lodge Footpath Road Safety Improvement Scheme to include an expected date the land acquisition stage will be completed and an indicative timeline for the next stages of the project.
Responding to Cllr McSweeney at the April Metropolitan District meeting, the Council said that the finalisation of land transfer contracts is dependent on landowner engagement and agreement.
“In addition, a small number of existing burdens have been identified on folios associated with certain land parcels. These will require resolution prior to transfer.”
