Canadian holidaymaker has positive run-in with Limerick Gardaí

A VISITOR to the Treaty City was left feeling extremely grateful after an unexpected brush with local Gardaí.

Local Gardaí, via the An Garda Síochána Limerick Facebook page, shared the story of Canadian holidaymaker Eugenio who was left distressed after he lost his phone in Limerick City.

It was a stroke of luck for the Canadian after the lost phone was handed to Gardaí who were out on their high visibility beats in the city centre by a good Samaritan.

Garda Trainees O’Donnell and Howard were able to return the lost phone to its rightful, and very grateful, owner, Eugenio.
