LIMERICK City and County Council has announced the launch of its seventh housing initiative under the New Build Incremental Purchase Scheme.
The scheme offers existing working local authority and Approved Housing Bodies (AHB) tenants and households on Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) and Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) the chance to purchase discounted market homes in Cluain Dara, Broadford.
It aims to support working families and individuals in transitioning from private rental accommodation into homeownership. In particular, the scheme offers opportunity to buy where a household has received a notice to quit.
The application process is open now and will close on June 12 at 5pm.
Eligible candidates must submit a complete application, including Mortgage Approval in Principle, to be considered.
