LIMERICK Youth Service (LYS) marked the United Nations World No Smoking Day last Friday (May 29).
An information coffee morning took place at the Northside Youth Space in Ballynanty which was hosted by the LYS Drug Education and Prevention Support Project.
The morning was open to anyone interested in learning more about the effects of smoking, vaping, and healthier alternatives.
Niamh Taylor, youth worker at LYS, said: “Through this event, we hoped to support young people in making healthier choices, while helping the important adults in their lives feel more confident having these conversations.”
